Start-Up Visa: How To File An SUV Work Permit

The Basic Requirements & How To Avoid Common Mistakes

Applicants for Canada’s Start-Up Visa program may be eligible to apply for an LMIA-exempt work permit. This allows applicants under this program to fulfill an important requirement of proving that they are actively working on their Canadian business and actioning the plans they have set out in their business plan.

While the SUV work permit essentially has the same requirements as a typical Canadian work permit application, there are a few key details that many applicants miss when applying for the SUV work permit. In today's blog, we'll explain what to look out for and how to apply for this rare work permit without making any of the common mistakes we often see.
