Today, we compiled a list of English conversation circles and groups available for new citizens to join in Durham Region and the GTA. Conversation circles offer a variety of benefits, which include:

  • Practice speaking the English language in a welcoming environment

  • Learn more about the community

  • Share stories and experiences

  • Develop networks and make new friends

We also found a number of employment services available to help you prepare your resume and cover letter and practice for your next interview! Please follow the hyperlinks for more information on where these events take place.

Oshawa Public Library:
