Jade Calver, CEO, RCIC
Calver and Associates is owned and operated by Jade Calver. Ms. Calver has over ten years’ experience in the Canadian immigration field. She has worked for Citizenship and Immigration Canada, the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada as well as one of the country’s leading immigration law firms. She has helped hundreds of people and their families come to Canada to start a new life.
Ms. Calver completed her degree majoring in Political Science with minors in Canadian Studies and French Literature at McGill University in 2012, as well as a graduate certificate in Immigration: Law, Policies and Procedures at the University of British Columbia in 2015.
Ms. Calver is a local resident who is committed to giving back to her community. She donates her time doing pro-bono work for the Peterborough New Canadians Centre, where she also gives Citizenship classes and information sessions on family sponsorship.
Ms. Calver has received numerous awards, including Partner of the Year from the New Canadians Centre, she was named Young Professional of the Quarter by the Young Professionals Network of Ontario, and her business was nominated for a Start up award by the Northumberland Chamber of Commerce.
Ms. Calver is an active member in her business community, she is a member of the Greater Oshawa Chamber of Commerce, the Clarington Board of Trade, as well as the Northumberland Chamber of Commerce.
Jade Calver is a Registered Immigration Consultant with the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council , RCIC#:513992 and holds the designation of a Commissioner of Oaths for Taking Affidavits with respect to the Citizenship Act and the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.
All immigration law consultations include a comprehensive meeting with a Canadian Immigration Specialist, who will provide an assessment of your case and personalized legal advice. Please note we do not offer free legal consultations and we do not offer contingency retainers.
Most immigration law matters are conducive to a flat fee. In such cases, we provide competitively priced packages.
Calver& Associates accept the following forms of payment for your convenience: VISA, MasterCard, PayPal, Interac debit payments and electronic bank transfers.
Initial Consultation Fee (Immigration Law) – $100CAD
Please note that we require a notice of cancellation at least 24 hours before the scheduled meeting. If you do not cancel your appointment with at least 24 hours before the scheduled meeting you will be issued an invoice.
Calver & Associates is committed to giving back - 1% of our annual income is donated back to help those facing immigration issues in the Northumberland, Durham, and Peterborough regions. Calver & Associates will also offer a percentage of our services pro-bono to those who cannot manage our legal fees.
Our firm is also closely partnered with the Northumberland Immigration Portal, as well as the New Canadians Centre. We offer free classes to community members such as Citizenship classes or information sessions on sponsoring family to come to Canada.

About Connie Kaplan, Esq.
Fort Lauderdale immigration attorney, Connie Kaplan started her legal practice with the desire to become a trusted legal representative from clients from across the globe. After graduating from the State University of New York with her Bachelor of Science in business and being awarded summa cum laude, Attorney Kaplan received her law degree from Nova Southeastern University.
While at Nova Southeastern University, she received the Goodwin Scholarship, was placed on the dean’s list, and was the editor-in-chief of the ILSA (International Law Students Association) Journal for International and Comparative Law. She is licensed to practice in the State of Florida, the United States District Court, and Southern District of Florida. Connie Kaplan is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) where she serves on the AILA South Florida USCIS Miami Liaison committee.
Attorney Kaplan is also an Adjunct Professor of Law at the Nova Southeastern University campus where she completed her legal education.
